History
Ula Ali Koçman Vocational School Electrical Program started its education in 2000-2001 academic year.
Qualification Awarded
The associate degree obtained in the field of electricity gives the graduates the title of technician. This is among the people of lower degree electrical occupations with the title, Electrical Engineer.
Admission Requirements
The right to enroll in the Vocational School Electricity Program can be gained by participating in the exams held by ÖSYM.
Higher Grade Transition
Upon successful completion of the associate degree, students are required to take the current grade from the Vertical Transition Exam (DGS), Computer and Control Teaching, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Teacher, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electronic Teacher Training, Electronic and Computer Education etc. they can continue from the 3rd grade of undergraduate programs.
Graduation Requirements
In order to complete the program successfully, it is necessary to successfully complete all the courses available in the program (120 credits) and achieve at least 2.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average over 4.00.

The need for qualified professionals to work in this field is increasing day by day. Employment opportunities in the private and public sectors can be listed as follows: Industrial areas, touristic facilities, hospitals, schools, construction sector, army, public and private organizations serving in the fields of electricity generation, transmission and distribution, and other civil service positions in public institutions. . In addition, if they wish, they can obtain mastery, master training and workplace opening documents from the Vocational Education Centers of the Ministry of National Education in order to create their free initiatives in the areas they specialize.
Assessment and Grading
Exams; midterm exam, final exam, excuse exam, make-up exam, exemption exam and single course exam. Exam assessment is determined by the instructors according to the requirements of the courses. In cases where the instructor deems necessary, homework, project or application studies can also be assessmented with a note. Midterm Exams: At least one mid-term exam is given for the courses opened in each semester. If there is no other in the semester except the midterm exam, the score obtained from the midterm exam can be 40 ~ 50% of the passing grade. Final Examinations: At the end of the semester, students are expected to determine the success of the courses. Final exam is 50 ~ 60% of the passing grade. The weight of the final exam in the passing grade cannot be less than 50% according to the regulations. Make-up Exams: Students who cannot take the mid-term or the final exams due to a valid excuse are given the right to excuse examination by the relevant board of directors. The student has applied to the dean's office / directorate within 3 days from the day of his / her excuse by making a petition based on the excuse for the acceptance of the excuse exam for the student. Make-up exams: Students are required to take the FD or FF grade at the end of the final exams and take the DD or DC grade and take the make-up exams. The grade taken in the make-up exam replaces the final exam grade of the course. The weights of midterm and make-up exams are calculated as in the final exams. In the courses that take the make-up exam, the last success grade is taken as a basis regardless of the previous grade. Exemption Examinations: The courses determined by the Senate are made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Students who succeed in these exams are given MM grade. Credits received from these courses are added to the graduation credit. There is no weighted credit rating affecting the GPA of the CG grade. Single Course Exam: Students who have fulfilled the continuity requirement for their graduation and who fail only one course can take one course exam from the failed course. In addition, in order to graduate, if the students who are successful in all the courses in the program they are enrolled in are not less than 2.00 because their CGPA is below 2.00, they are successful to raise their CGPA. can take a single course exam. One-time exam can be used once. For each course taken by the students, one of the following letter grades is given by the instructor assigned to carry out the course. TT is given to the students who have not fulfilled the requirements for attendance in the courses and / or the practice. Students who are successful in the Foreign Language Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam are exempted from the common compulsory foreign language (English, German, French) courses and evaluated with MM. GG is given to students who are successful in internship studies in education program and Foreign Language Preparatory Program. KK is given to students who fail in the internship studies in the education program and Foreign Language Preparatory Program. VV is given which are removed from the education program or are not replaced by another course and do not have to be fulfilled, the proposal of the department is given by the decision of the relevant board of directors.
